Tashkent, September 2018 – As a part of its strategy to accompany international clients into new and attractive markets, SCHNEIDER GROUP is opening an office in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The country’s authorities are displaying considerable efforts to create an investor-friendly environment, and business opportunities in the country are plenty in a variety of fields, from textile production to pharmaceutics.
On September 7th, SCHNEIDER GROUP will follow the steps of merchant caravans, who rode the Silk Road centuries ago, and open a permanent office in Tashkent. Uzbekistan is located on the new Silk Road and present interesting investment possibilities on the route between Asia and Europe, as the new government has set the liberalization of the economy and creation of a favourable business environment for foreign investors as priority goals.
Indeed, a comprehensive set of reforms is being implemented in a wide range of fields (currency conversion, financial, law, tax etc.).
