Armenia’s new Law on Foreigners, effective 1 November 2026, introduces significant changes to employment permissions, residence statuses, work visas, quotas, and migration procedures.

The support measures include extending the deadlines for the payment of taxes and contributions, as well as suspending tax audits and debt collection.

As of 1 January 2027, Germany will fully suspend the Double Tax Treaty with Russia, which may result in double taxation of personal income in both countries.

Russian courts are gaining broader jurisdiction over disputes involving foreign companies, increasing litigation risks for businesses while preserving opportunities to effectively protect their rights and interests in Russia.

On 4 August 2026, the President of the Russian Federation signed Decree No. 550, which amends the temporary procedure for the fulfilment of obligations to foreign creditors established by Decree No. 95.
