Russia | Abolition of most repatriation requirements for foreign trade contracts

Starting July, 1st 2021,  Russian residents for currency control purposes can accept payments from non-residents in foreign currency on their accounts in foreign banks or use other forms of obligations performance. Get in touch with SCHNEIDER GROUP Tax Team to check whether law changes are applicable to your foreign trade contracts, to understand the possible forms of obligations performance and to develop correct debt restructuring strategy for them if required.
