Natalia Wilke and her team will strengthen SCHNEIDER GROUP legal and tax practice

Further steps in the harmonization of market regulations in the EU and the EAEU discussed at the Lisbon-Vladivostok roundtable in Moscow

On November 16th, 2020, Ulf Schneider, President & Founder of SCHNEIDER GROUP, moderated the round-table discussion of the Lisbon-Vladivostok initiative “Concrete steps for cooperation between the EAEU and the EU”. Russian software should be installed on electronic devices manufactured or sold in Russia starting 01.01.2021

On November 18, the Government of the Russian Federation approved the list of devices that should have Russian software pre-installed and rules for creating and maintaining the register of the Russian software that should be pre-installed, as well as the rules of installation. Inclusion on the list of small and medium enterprises on a monthly basis

Starting November 7, companies that meet the criteria of small and medium enterprises (SME) can be included in the register of SMEs on a monthly basis. The SME status is associated with multiple benefits, including reduced social taxes rate of 15% instead of 30%.

Mandatory mask regime is gradually being introduced

The Verkhovna Rada will consider a draft law on a preferential regime for IT companies

On November 2, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered the draft law No. 4303 “On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine” to provide special legal and tax regimes for residents of Diia.City.

Changes to the rules for currency transactions

The changes include prohibition of use of non-cash foreign currency purchased in accordance with Clause 20 of the Rules for purposes not related to the fulfilment of obligations in foreign currency and provision of additional documents when purchasing non-cash foreign currency.
