DB Cargo Eurasia has officially joined the group of supporters for the Initiative for a Common Economic Space from Lisbon to Vladivostok.
The memorandum of the initiative was signed by Uwe Leuschner, Dr. Carsten Hinne, representing DB Cargo Eurasia, and Ulf Schneider, Co-Chairman of the Working Group Lisbon-Vladivostok and Managing Partner of SCHNEIDER GROUP, during the logistics exhibition “TransRussia” in Moscow on April 15, 2019.
With DB Cargo on board, the initiative has been signed by nearly 60 official members, among them companies, business chambers, and think tanks.
The Initiative asks political actors in all countries of the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) to give their supranational bodies the mandate to start an official dialogue to harmonize regulations.
In 2019, the working group will organize sessions in Berlin, Brussels, and Moscow. Information events in Paris, London, Milano, Vienna, Nur-Sultan, and Almaty will take place. Interested company representatives are invited to join the events and officially become a supporter.
