The roadshow “Saint Petersburg – the gate to the Eurasian Economic Union” held by SCHNEIDER GROUP St. Petersburg from 10.03.2020 to 11.03.2020, was especially interesting for companies from Northern Germany.
With the support of our media partner publishing house OWC, we organized four separate events in Bremen, Hamburg, Lübeck and Schwerin in just two days. Despite the tense economic situation related to outbreak of coronavirus, a large number of participants attended the event.
How does the electronic visa work? What should be taken into account during certification for export to the Russian Federation? Is it risky to open a branch in Russia? What do tax and labor law standards look like? What are the benefits for investors?
For many guests, this came as a surprise, but it’s actually not that difficult! During the event, our experts Mathias Weber and Nadezhda Kharkovskaya answered these and many other questions, citing the examples of case studies.
“I really liked this event! Logically structured information was supported by a good presentation. A relatively small number of participants had a positive impact on communication efficiency”.
We were especially pleased with the diversity of participants. By sharing their exciting experience, workers of energy sector, business associations, engineering, machinery and industrial equipment manufacturing, aviation, logistics, transport and many other areas provided useful insights into their work field. This allowed us to establish new contacts with companies which are very interested in Russian business and which we encouraged about it.
“Thanks again for your excellent, informative presentation in Schwerin.”
Our guest speaker Steffen Sendler, Managing Partner of Sendler & Company, during the event in Hamburg inspired participants with the topic “Ecobaltic Industrial Park in the Kaliningrad Region”.
We sincerely thank Chief Executive Officer Siegbert Eisenach and Consultant International Henrike Güdokeit of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Schwerin. In accordance with the Chamber’s motto “Economy moves”, you allowed us to have a wonderful event at the Chamber’s premises and with the help of your long-term experience, took care of lively discussion.
