St. Petersburg gradually eases the regime of restrictions

On June 25, 2020, the Governor Alexander Beglov amended the decree of the Government of St. Petersburg No. 121 “On measures to counteract the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in St. Petersburg” dated March 13, 2020.

  • As of June 28, the prohibition on visiting parks, public gardens and garden squares, as well as children’s and sports grounds, will be lifted.
  • As of June 29, zoological parks with an area of more than 5 hectares will open; the solemn ceremonies of marriage registration will resume.
  • Some services of the service sector will become available.
  • Summer cafes and verandas will open.

All other recommendations and prohibitions established earlier, including the recommendation for employers to ensure the remote working regime for employees of organizations, remain valid until July 12, 2020.
