The terms of the completion of foreign trade operations and validity of permits for accounts opening abroad are extended

The Government and the National Bank of Belarus on April 1, 2020 have adopted the Joint Regulation № 192/6 “On conducting foreign trade operations and opening accounts in non-resident banks”.

The Regulation provides for:

  • extention for 100 calendar days of completion terms of foreign trade operations with completion terms from April 1, 2020 till June 30, 2020. The residents do not have to file applications for prolongation of the completion terms of such operations in the prescribed order;
  • extention for 100 calendar days of completion terms of foreign trade operations, set by the permits of the National Bank of Belarus, which fall from April 1, 2020 till June 30, 2020. The residents do not have to file applications for prolongation of the completion terms of such operations in the prescribed order;
  • extention for 100 calendar days of the validity terms of permits for accounts opening in foreign banks, which expire from April 1, 2020 till June 30, 2020, provided if established account regimes and conditions of the corresponding permits are preserved. During the prolonged period of the permits the residents carry out their activity within the latest established limit (account balance), transactions amount to the account in the foreign bank from the account in a bank of Belarus and use of money from the account in the foreign bank.
