Terms for submitting information on the labor activity of employees changed


On April 26, the Government of Russia issued a decree on new deadlines for provision of information on the employees’ labor activities. Now employers are required to inform the Pension Fund within 1 business day about the hiring or dismissal of employees.

Previously, the law provided the opportunity to provide such data before the 15th day of the next month. Employers shall submit information about employees hired or dismissed within the period from April 1 until the date of the decree’s adoption, within 1 business day from the date of entry into force of the document.

The procedure and deadlines for submitting other data on labor activity, including on transfer to another job or on keeping a work book on paper, remained the same. The decree was extended to legal relations until December 31, 2020.
