In accordance with the amendments to the Resolution of the Government of St. Petersburg No. 121 “On measures to counteract the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Saint Petersburg” dated April 3, 2020, companies and individual entrepreneurs, whose activities are not subject to established prohibitions and restrictions, are obliged to determine the number of employees directly providing business activity at workplaces.

Based on this Decree from April 1:
- Self-isolation period for Muscovites was prolonged until May 1, 2020
- Prohibition on public events was prolonged until May 1, 2020
- Prohibition on work of restaurants, cafes, bars, buffets etc. with personal presence of citizens  was prolonged until May 1, 2020

Based on the new legislation from April 4, violators of sanitary-epidemiological rules face the following punishments.

On the basis of the powers vested in the Government of the Russian Federation by Federal Law No. 102-FZ of April 1, 2020, on April 2, 2020 it issued Decision No. 409 “On measures to ensure the sustainable development of the economy”, which provides for the implementation of measures to support enterprises in facing the crisis.
