From July 1, 2021, Federal Law No. 371-FZ dated 09.11.2020 will come into force, amending the Tax Code of the Russian Federation to regulate the procedure for the circulation of goods subject to traceability.

In July 2019, Russia introduced a new law mandating the marking of consumer goods. The marking programme is being introduced on a phased basis, and by 2024, a single national marking system will cover all categories of consumer goods.

Starting on 01.01.2021, Russia  applied the Multilateral Convention of 24.11.2016 on the implementation of measures related to tax treaties in order to counter the erosion of the tax base and the withdrawal of profits from taxation (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting – BEPS). Amendments to a number of Double Taxation Treaties will also come into force.

On December 30, 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law “On Amendments to Articles 8 and 11 of the Federal Law “On special assessment of working conditions”.

By the Order of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan the Rules for the collection and processing of personal data of 21.10.2020 No. 395/NK were approved. The Rules became effective on 08.11.2020.
