About the event

During our business breakfast, the partners and HR experts from our offices in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will introduce various business opportunities in these dynamically growing New (Eur)Asian Tiger States.

Using case studies from the top sectors of energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and logistics, as well as useful insights of the local labour markets, this event will provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the general business conditions as well as the most important requirements and avoidable mistakes within a market entry or business expansion in both countries.

After the presentations, participants will have a possibility for asking their questions and exchanging  experiences and ideas during the get-together afterwards.

About speakers

Artur Bartel
Team lead business development, Kazakhstan; head of branch office in Kyrgyzstan
Artur joined SCHNEIDER GROUP in September 2017 as a business development specialist. He was responsible for business development projects and support of foreign businesses expanding to Kazakhstan. With business growth of SCHNEIDER GROUP’s clients and their further expansion to Kyrgyzstan, Artur’s area of responsibility was also extended to cover similar projects there.

Based on his work results contributing to the company’s financial performance, Artur was promoted to team lead business development in October 2021. He was appointed head of the branch office of SCHNEIDER GROUP in Kyrgyzstan later in 2022. Artur specialises in business development and support of foreign investors in the CIS countries. He serves as an interim CEO for several international companies operating in Kazakhstan.
Olga Nezgovorova
HR Director, SCHNEIDER GROUP Kazakhstan
 Olga joined the company in 2010. She is in charge of the full range of company HR services: advises SCHNEIDER GROUP customers on labour and migration law, leads projects on Kazakhstan labour market analysis, employer of record, HR administration, occupational and health safety, personnel recruitment, assessment and training.

Olga holds the position of the Head of HR Competence Centre at SCHNEIDER GROUP and is the chairperson and active member of the HR & Marketing task force by the German Economic Union in Kazakhstan. In July 2021, Olga became an Erickson School Certified coach.
Nodir Ayupov
Partner, SCHNEIDER GROUP Tashkent
Nodir became Director of the Tashkent office in September 2018.
He is responsible for the development of services provided the Tashkent office, including accounting outsourcing and automation, ERP implementation and integration, interim management, business setup and manufacturing localisation.

Prior to joining SCHNEIDER GROUP, Nodir worked for 18 years for Uzbekistan Airways in increasingly responsible positions, starting as Head of External Affairs and completing his job for the airline as Head of representative offices in Kazakhstan, Greece, and Spain. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in finance and international consulting.

Johannes Leitner
Managing Partner, LM-Prisk
Johannes Leitner is Managing Partner at LM Political Risk and Strategy Advisory and a recognized expert in the fields of geostrategy, compliance management, political risk management, and global business strategy with more than 15 years of professional experience. Johannes Leitner frequently leads expert and academic panels at international conferences, including, among others, at Cambridge University.

He received his PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and graduated in International Business Studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in Southeast European Studies at the University of Vienna. In addition, he was a visiting scholar at the Stockholm School of Economics.
