President & Founder

Founded by Ulf Schneider in 2003, SCHNEIDER GROUP is a consulting company that supports international companies with market entry and business development in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus. The company now has 18 offices in 15 countries.

Before founding his own company, Ulf was CFO at the representative office of the insurance company Allianz in Russia (Moscow).

After studying Economics at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel (Germany) and at the University of Illinois (USA), Ulf worked for five years in financial management and tax planning at Procter&Gamble at various locations in Germany and in Brussels (Belgium).

Ulf is a recognised speaker on the following topics:

  • Business Development in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus
  • Global trends in foreign trade
  • Building bridges on a business level and with charity

In 2020, Ulf was appointed President of the Moscow Malteser Humanitarian Aid organization. During his mandate, the organisation has evolved significantly with the mission to bring people in crisis back to an active life.

In 2015, Ulf was one of the drivers of a business initiative to create a joint Greater European Economic Space, supported by 120 companies and business associations throughout the region.

Ulf is a long-standing member of the Rotary Charity Club, and has served as President of the Metropol Club of Moscow and Treasurer of the club's Russian Regional District.
